Captek

Captek nanotechnology makes it possible to quickly produce crowns and bridges that are designed for long-term wear without corrosion or breakage. For years, Captek has been the choice for restorative dental labs who want to deliver patients an aesthetically appealing tooth restoration that is exceptionally resistant to damage and oxidation. In fact, Captek is created with a more than 84 percent gold alloy composition and reinforced with platinum and palladium. That means that  Captek restorations are not only strong, but they will also never produce unsightly grey or black margins.

Did you know…

that Captek’s unique composition also prevents the build-up of plaque? Patients who have Captek restorations are less likely to experience gingival complications that are possible with other types of restorations. The gold alloy used to create Captek copings has been show to minimize bacterial accretion along the gum line by 90 percent in comparison to natural teeth. The result is a lower risk of dental caries and periodontal disease.
